Whew! She actually likes bathtime!

Well geez, it's about time. This baby has thrown a fit at almost every bathing experience thus far. I think the key was that the dogs were watching over her so she could stare at them instead of thinking about how much she didn't like her bath. She is slowly getting better, but crying usually ensues at some point during bathtime.

Professional Pictures

We had professional pictures done at Babies-R-Us today... the girl taking the pictures made Avery giggle and laugh -- it made me so jealous as she hasn't done that for me at all! Wah! These pictures are for Valentine's Day, hence all the red clothing :)

Meeting Marylin

Avery met another friend today, Marylin. Marylin belongs to Windy, a girl that I met in a pregnant women/mom's group. It was a good time! We had lunch at Chili's and talked and took some fun pictures. I'm not sure they noticed each other much, but it was still fun to watch them look at each other!

Wow, a real live friend!

We attended Hope Manley's baby shower today, and Avery got to meet Lauren, another baby who was born just a few days before Avery. It was fun to sit and talk with Tammy, Lauren's mom, and to watch the babies 'check' each other out. So I guess this means that Avery has her first real live friend!
