She crawls!

Oh geez, I am so not ready for this! Avery has been working toward crawling for weeks it seems... and I knew that once she figured out how to get both of her legs under her from a sitting position, it would be no time at all until she was off and 'running,' so to speak.

Houston, we have a tooth!

Yes, one has finally broken through the surface and oh my, the teething is the worst yet. Today was a day filled with whining and crying, but DEAR GOD, I think it may be downhill from here. Of course, every little victory I celebrate I get punished for, so I won't go on bragging about how they say the first tooth is the worst and maybe the worst is over...

Motoring around...

We're still not quite crawling, but Avery is definitely enjoying taking steps around the house while I hold her hands. She is also now stiffening her legs when I try to put her into a sit position from standing. She wants to stand so much! A few times today I could also make out a "Mama" or two. I love it!
