Before any changes were made.. the walls are white, the fan is oak and brass, the carpet is pink (and sadly, brand-new but too ugly for me) there is a sliding glass door to the left of this pic that has white vertical blinds.
Here is the finished product. We painted the walls and the wood beam, put in new carpet, changed the ceiling fan, got drapes hung
Here is the view looking back toward the exterior portion of the bathroom and the closet.
Here is the exterior portion of the bathroom. There is one sink. Again (surprise, surprise...) everything is white. The archway there leads to the bedroom portion and the closet is to the rear.
Here are the changes to the exterior portion of the bathroom. We painted the walls, painted the cabinets, changed the white/gray marble tile to limestone, put new hardware on the cabinets, and changed the light fixture. The countertop is still pretty ugly, but it's staying for now. We also installed a shelf where the opening for a vanity/chair was in order to maximize storage. Neither of us would have sat there anyway.
Here is the closet -- fortunately a good size!
