I am always so worried about taking pictures where strangers will wonder what I’m doing, I tried to quickly snap a few of the orange groves before I was discovered. My rushing shows as I didn’t quite catch focus, but it is what it is ;) This photo makes me kind of sad — the whole area of land that this particular orange grove is on is for sale, and it’ll no doubt be turned into more homes or condos or something that isn’t needed (we have so many homes and business buildings vacant right now, there just isn’t a need for MORE of anything). I’ve loved growing up near orange groves — the house I grew up in sat on a cross-section of old orange groves — we even still had the irrigation system running right through our backyard. The scent in my city during this time of year is just amazing :)<\/p>\n
