Avery was in this same play last year<\/u><\/a>, as a first grader. This year, she had one of the lead roles. It’s basically about a bunch of purebred dogs that all want to win the dog show with their special talent, whether it be rolling over, fetching, or sitting. Avery’s character, Rover, is the only mutt of the group, and his (her?) special talent is reciting Shakespeare. Rover blows away the judges and they proclaim her (him?) the winner of the dog show. I tell you, I know it was only a second grade play, but I was totally welling up with tears and so overwhelmingly proud of my girl!
