The moon was supposed to rise at 5:06pm and the sun was supposed to set at 5:14pm. I was going to capture the moon with some lingering sunlight along the ridge of mountains and it would all be like freaking magic.<\/p>\n<p>I think, however, the moonrise time that I Googled and found on several sites for MY CITY didn&#8217;t account for the fact that we&#8217;ve got some substantial mountains on our eastern horizon line. The moon did not come over the mountain ridge until more like 5:40. It was fully dark by then.
