A windy night in the mountains isn’t exactly good for taking slow shutter night shots, but I was able to get a few :) This is actually a few shots stitched together. I don’t have a lens wide enough to capture this much of the valley. Here is a much larger panoramic, too :)

Don’t all cats look down on their human(s)? This is his little perch. It’s the upstairs, but an area that has a wide open view of most of the downstairs. He’s not in the middle of all of the action, but he can watch it all. And judge us.

We drive past these streets all of the time, and I always look down them and love the touching trees that line both sides :) Today I stopped on a whim and the girls thought I was totally crazy to ask them to stand in the middle of the street!

From Where I Stand, Set 5
This week has been a tough one — sick house and busy, busy. Today we’re all much better, thanks to Nyquil and getting enough sleep! We’re hanging out watching football and the girls are in the backyard playing “animals,” whatever that means :) I tried to get them to play croquet (see the last picture…) but no one wanted to play with me! Here is the whole set so far, if you’d like to see :)

One of my best friends has been in town this week, so I’ve been busy trying to squeeze in some fun activities along with the usual busy-ness. We’ve also had a cold going through out house, which always slows things down :( Hopefully we’ll all be healthy soon!
