FWIS

From Where I Stand. I started out attempting to do this every day of the year for 2012, but it became too much to keep up with…. I made it 100 days and then some. That’s good enough for me.

What a fabulous series! Not only do I love the images themselves, but I was excited to see the next pair of shoes as I scrolled through them! “This sucks” made me laugh!

    I love this series!

  8. This is so awesome! Love this idea!!! Can I ask, what lens are you using? I’m assuming it’s the same focal length each day.

    You have cute feet! :)

Also, are you just adding to the post every day? Or are you doing a chunk of photos at one time in a single post, then doing another chunk later?

Hi Gretchen! I’m doing 4 at a time, because I’m simultaneously adding them to Flickr, and didn’t want to overwhelm my Flickr stream with photos of my feet :) And yes, I’m using my 28 everyday to try to get some continuity with the placement of my feet. In hindsight, I probably should have used my 20mm, but it’s manual focus (old lens from my Dad) and not sure I’d always want to focus manually! Thanks for the nice comments :)

Okay, really loving these. Your different shoes are awesome, and you so creatively capture your moments by shooting at this angle. The different textures of the ground are so fun, too. Adding you to my reader…
