I have attempted this many many times over the years. Until now, my camera battery has always died mid-experiment, but this time I had an AC adapter plugged into a power strip, which went to an extension cord that was plugged straight into our generator. It was a lot of setup, but I like the results! These is 375 or so 30-second long exposures all stacked in succession. The lights at the bottom of the frame are off-road vehicles :)
